Frequency Generator: Tone Hz

Tone Generator: Frequency Hz is an audio tone generator for your phone. Choose any frequency from 1 Hz to 22 kHz, press the big Play button under the dial and hear it right away. Sine, square, sawtooth and triangle waveforms, plus white, pink and brown noise. ▶ MAIN FEATURES • Frequency 1 Hz – 22 kHz: arrows, semitone and octave steps, A4 button • Note name and cents readout • Exact Hz entry for the right ear, mixer tones and sweep • Sine, square, sawtooth, triangle, white, pink and brown noise • Frequency sweep between two frequencies, once or looping • Mono, stereo, binaural beats and isochronic tones • Dual tone and a mixer for up to four tones • Presets that start the sound in one tap, and your own saved presets • Sleep timer: 15, 30 or 60 minutes • Instrument tuner using the microphone • Water Eject: 165 Hz at full volume to help push water out of the speaker ▶ HOW TO USE 1. Pick a waveform — sine gives the cleanest tone. 2. Set the frequency with the arrows or semitone steps, or tap a preset. 3. Keep the volume low to start. 4. Tap the big Play button (or the dial). 5. Try a preset, a sweep, or a binaural beat. ▶ PRESETS Tinnitus masking tone, sleep, A4 440 Hz, subwoofer 60 Hz, bass strings E A D G, dog whistle, cat repel, a brainwave beat pack and solfeggio tones. Each one plays as soon as you tap it. ▶ WHO USES IT • Musicians tuning to an exact Hz • Speaker, headphone and subwoofer testers • Students learning about sound and waveforms • Anyone who wants a steady tone or noise while focusing or resting ▶ SAFETY Start quiet — loud tones, especially high frequencies, can harm hearing and speakers. Brainwave and solfeggio presets are traditionally used in relaxation and focus routines and are not a medical or therapeutic treatment. The tinnitus preset is a masking tone, not a treatment. Available in 30 languages.

This Tone Generator+ update fixes an audio-engine error that could close the app unexpectedly when a tone or the tuner was stopped or switched. Tones, sweeps, binaural mode and the tuner work as before, and your saved presets and settings are untouched.
