HOW TO PLAY BILLIARDS? One of four game types can be selected when a table is opened: • 8 Ball: The balls are divided into two groups, solids (1-7) and stripes (9-15). On an open table, the group of the pocketed ball is given to the player; if balls from both groups are pocketed, the group can be chosen. After the seven balls of the player's own group are pocketed, the frame is won by pocketing the black 8 ball in the selected pocket. The frame is lost if the black ball is pocketed early or in another pocket, or if the cue ball drops together with the black ball. • 3 Ball: The white and yellow balls belong to the players, and the red is the object ball. A point is scored when the player's ball hits both other balls. • 3 Cushion: Played like 3 Ball, but to score, the ball must hit the cushions at least three times before it hits the second ball. • 4 Ball: There are two red balls on the table. 1 point is scored when the player's ball hits both reds, 2 points when it hits the opponent's ball and one red, and 4 points when it hits all three balls. The game is won by the first player to reach the set number of frames in 8 Ball, or the set score in the other types. When the ball to be played is tapped, the cue turns to its exact center. The shot can then be shifted toward the desired side of the ball with the fine aim dial below the table, in 0.1 degree steps within ±10 degrees. • If the finger slides without being lifted after a ball is tapped, the aim follows the finger and stays where the finger is released. • Aim can also be taken by holding and dragging the aim line or the cue; tapping elsewhere on the table does not change the aim. • If the cue is raised with the elevation dial and the ball is struck with side spin, the cue ball curves (massé shot). • In 3D view, the table can be rotated by dragging an empty area and zoomed with two fingers.
