Corner Kick: Set Piece Hero

The floodlights are on, the stands are packed, and the box is crowded with players. Swing the ball in from the corner, meet it with your head and bulge the net! Take 10 corners and see how many you can score. ■ PLAYER A: DELIVER THE CORNER • Your No. 10 steps up to take the corner, from the left or the right • Use the direction ring to pick where the ball comes down (the yellow ring) • Hold KICK longer for a higher ball. A quick tap whips in a fast, low one; a long hold floats it up to drop from the sky • Every delivery curls in toward the goal ■ PLAYER B: GET ON THE END OF IT • After the kick you take control of the teammate closest to where the ball will land • Run in with the ring and DASH, then JUMP to head the high balls • Low balls? SLIDE forward, left or right to poke them home • Better timing means a harder, more accurate shot, aimed away from the keeper ■ A DEFENCE THAT FIGHTS BACK • A marker sticks tight to your No. 9. Pick out another teammate to lose him • The near-post defender heads away low deliveries • Too close to goal and the keeper comes out to claim it • The keeper dives at your shots, so go for the corners ■ 3D VIEW FROM BEHIND YOUR PLAYER • Packed stands, a goal with a real net and both teams all around you • Slow motion at the moment you connect • A mini-map shows where the players and the ball are ■ FIREWORKS AND CHEERS FOR EVERY GOAL • Drums and clapping from the stands, and a rising roar as the ball drops into the box • A huge cheer and fireworks every time you score • Headers and shots into the corners score more.
