Private AI Vault Private AI Vault is an on-device knowledge base for professionals and small teams: collect documents, notes and scans, search them locally, back up statements with sources and redact personal data before you share anything. Honestly named: the app uses no language model and no cloud, only traceable methods that run entirely on your device. FEATURES • Import text, files, camera shots and photos; the operating system’s text recognition (OCR) runs on the device, with a quality check and manual correction • Multiple encrypted vaults (AES-256-GCM) with their own key or PIN, auto-lock and rules per vault; templates for research, contracts and client files • Collections, manual or rule-based, plus tags, follow-up dates and a trash bin • Full-text search using BM25 with synonyms, typo tolerance, phrases and exclusions; “Why this result?” shows how each match scored • Saved questions with result ratings and precision; similar passages via TF-IDF • Extractive summaries: every sentence is a verbatim quote with document, location and checksum; you accept or reject each sentence, with optional four-eyes approval • Rule-based detection of personal data: email, phone, IBAN with check digits, card numbers, IP addresses, German tax IDs, dates of birth, postal addresses, names and access keys • Redaction as a bar, category label, initials or full removal, with review deadlines and a required reason for dismissing high-confidence matches • Export as PDF, ZIP, JSON or CSV with a manifest and a warning about unredacted content; encrypted backups that never overwrite existing data • Roles with PINs, a processing log without content and a history kept as a SHA-256 hash chain LOCAL AND PRIVATE All data stays on your device – no account, no server, no tracking.
