StopSnap: Stop Motion Studio

Bring small movements to life, one frame at a time. StopSnap is an offline stop-motion studio for figures, models, objects and everyday scenes. Create a named project, capture frames with your camera, arrange the sequence and export it without an account. CAPTURE AND ALIGN Use the live camera preview and adjustable previous-frame onion skin to line up your next shot. Capture immediately or use a 3- or 5-second countdown. Start a repeating 3-, 5- or 10-second interval when you need time between shots. Interval capture waits for each frame to save and cancels future shots when the app goes into the background or the capture layout changes. EDIT YOUR SEQUENCE Inspect saved frames, move them earlier or later, duplicate them or delete a frame after confirmation. Projects and original frames stay in app-private storage so you can return to your work. PLAY FROM YOUR SELECTION Choose a frame and start the preview there, or play from the first frame when nothing is selected. Adjust playback from 1 to 30 FPS and loop through your timeline. Stop keeps the playback position selected for editing. Return to the live camera when you are ready for another shot. EXPORT YOUR WORK Save a silent H.264 MP4 at 1280 × 720, or a ZIP containing PNG frames and an FPS manifest. Frames are fitted without cropping; black bars may appear where needed. Choose a destination using Android's file picker. Progress and cancellation controls help you manage exports while keeping original frames intact. An interrupted export may leave an incomplete destination file to remove. LOCAL BY DESIGN No login, advertising, purchases or automatic uploads. Camera permission is used to capture frames; existing projects remain available if you decline it. Optional local diagnostic reports are saved only when you choose and are not sent automatically. Use a stable camera and steady lighting. Camera exposure and white balance can change between shots. MP4 export requires a supported device encoder. Videos have no soundtrack; GIF export and project backup import are not included. Uninstalling removes private projects and originals, so export copies you want to keep. Support: [email protected]

First release: capture and align stop motion, edit and preview your frames, then export silent MP4 or PNG ZIP.
