Clapfy helps you find your phone at home. Turn listening on once, put the phone wherever you like, and when it goes missing under a cushion, in a bag or between the sofa seats, just clap twice or whistle. Your phone rings loudly, flashes and vibrates until you pick it up, even when it is on silent. IT ACTUALLY HEARS YOU Every home sounds different, so Clapfy learns yours. A 30-second calibration first listens to your room, then to three of your claps, and sets the threshold for your hands and your space. Test mode shows a live level meter with the room level and the clap threshold, and tells you each time it hears a clap or a whistle, without ringing. In a quiet room, a normal clap is heard from across the room, about 3–5 m away. A sensitivity slider fine-tunes it further. FEWER FALSE ALARMS To clap to find your phone, Clapfy looks for the sharp, short, bright shape of real hand claps in a quick pair, not just any loud noise. Doors, footsteps, the fridge, typing, talking, the TV and music are ignored, and so is a long round of applause. Listening pauses automatically while your phone is playing sound itself, during calls and while another app uses the microphone, and the status line always says why. KEEPS LISTENING Clapfy keeps listening after you close the app, with a quiet notification where you can pause for an hour or stop. Add the Quick Settings tile to turn listening on or off in one tap. If your phone restarts, a notification reminds you to turn listening back on with a single tap. RINGS ON SILENT The alarm plays on the alarm channel, so silent and vibrate mode don't stop it. You choose the alarm volume and how long it rings (10 to 120 seconds), and your volume is put back exactly as it was afterwards. The flashlight blinks and the phone vibrates, so you can also find it in the dark. Four alarm sounds are included. EASY TO STOP Pick the phone up, unlock it, tap Stop on the screen or in the notification, or simply wait for the timeout. The alarm never sets itself off again with its own sound. RESPECTS YOUR PHONE No launcher, no home screen takeover, no account. Clapfy asks for two permissions only: the microphone and notifications. No location, no camera, no access to your photos. Audio is analyzed on your phone in tiny pieces and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Android shows its microphone indicator whenever listening is on.
