TerraLoop turns your daily walk, ride, or drive into a real-world territory-control game. Close a loop out on the streets and the ground inside it becomes your crew's land — encircle an enemy zone to capture it whole, or cut across one to carve away a slice. HOW IT WORKS • Start recording and move — TerraLoop tracks your GPS route live while you walk, bike, or drive. • Bring your route back within 100 ft of where you started to close the loop. • The server validates it's a real, physically possible closed shape of at least half an acre, then credits the enclosed area to your crew. Every loop is checked server-side, not just on your phone, so territory is earned by real movement — not spoofed GPS. THREE WAYS TO PLAY Walk, bike, and drive each hold their own separate territory pool with its own area cap, so a loop on foot never competes with someone who drove it. Filter the map to see how each pool looks, and pick the mode that fits your day. CREWS, ALLIANCES & LEADERSHIP Found a crew or join one already claiming ground near you, and merge your territory with teammates on a shared season ledger. Forge alliances with other crews — allied land is off-limits to each other's loops. Switching crews carries a real cost — you'll want to pick your side and commit. Prefer to go it alone? Fly solo under your own banner instead, with the exact same claim mechanics. SEASONS & LEADERBOARD Compete on a global leaderboard, or flip to Nearby to see who controls the streets around you right now. Season points persist independently of the live map, so a raid on your land doesn't erase what your crew already earned. TERRITORY IS ALIVE Land nobody revisits starts shrinking after 10 days and disappears entirely if it's left too long. Holding ground takes upkeep, not just a one-time claim — running your usual route back through your own land is all it takes to keep it safe. Big territories can't be stolen in one lucky lap either: they have to be besieged, loop after loop, before they fall. QUESTS, LEVELS & BADGES Daily and weekly quests reward getting out and playing — close loops, cover distance, claim ground, raid rivals — earning XP, levels, and a badge case of streak and milestone trophies. Team quests give your whole crew something to chase together. EVENTS, LEAGUES & REPLAYS Jump into time-boxed squad events — hold the most territory in a region before the clock runs out — or climb a regional league ladder, where crews are promoted and relegated between divisions every week. Every route you record is saved, too, so you can play back any past loop as an animated trail on the map, and share a replay with anyone via a private link. MAKE YOUR MARK Pick your crew's fill color, pattern, and emblem — or upload a custom logo — so your territory is instantly recognizable on the map. Get notified the moment someone captures or raids your land, a teammate joins, or the leaderboard shifts under you. FAIR PLAY, BUILT IN Speed checks, teleport detection, and GPS-spoofing signals all run authoritatively on the server, so the client is never trusted for the final call.
