QRF

QRF (Quick Reaction Force) is a free veteran peer support app that connects veterans with other veterans nearby when support is needed most. When you are going through a difficult time, tap the QRF button to send a request. Nearby veterans who have chosen to take part are notified and can reach out, so you can talk with someone who understands military life. HOW IT WORKS • Sign up with your phone number in a minute • Tap the button to request peer support from veterans near you • Get alerts when a veteran in your area asks for support, and reach out • See recent requests in your community • SMS alerts are optional and you can turn them off at any time WHO IT IS FOR QRF is built for the veteran community: veterans and service members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Space Force and National Guard, as well as military families and civilian supporters who want to be there for a veteran. WHY QRF In the military, a Quick Reaction Force is the team that responds when someone needs backup. QRF brings that idea home: veterans helping veterans, a battle buddy close by, and a local support network you can count on. Every new member receives a free QRF T-shirt. YOUR PRIVACY Your information is used only to run the app. You can delete your account and data at any time from the Account tab. IMPORTANT QRF is a peer-support network, not a crisis service, medical provider, or replacement for professional care. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line, or call 911.

First release of QRF on Google Play. Send a help request to QRF members near you with one tap, get alerts when someone nearby needs help, and manage your profile and free welcome T-shirt.
