Room Calc: Paint, Tile & Floor

Room Calc works out how much paint, tile, flooring, wallpaper and concrete a room really needs, and turns it into one priced shopping list for the whole project. MEASURE THE ROOM ONCE • Rectangle, L-shaped, or wall by wall for rooms with angles and alcoves. • Add doors, windows and other openings with common sizes or your own. They are taken off the wall area automatically. • A live floor plan and an unfolded wall view are drawn to scale from your numbers, with every wall lettered. • Type feet and inches the way you say them (12' 6", 12 6, 12'-6 1/2") or metres with a dot or a comma. You can even add lengths: 2.4 + 1.2. FIVE CALCULATORS PER ROOM • Paint: walls, ceiling or both, number of coats, coverage from the can, optional primer. Pick the can sizes your store sells and Room Calc finds the cheapest mix of cans, with the cost. • Tiles: floor or wall, including a band such as a backsplash. Tile size, grout joint, straight, brick, diagonal or herringbone layout with sensible waste, tiles per box. Grout and adhesive bags included. • Flooring: laminate, vinyl plank, engineered or hardwood by the box, or carpet by the roll with drops laid the cheaper way. Underlay rolls and baseboard pieces with door openings left out. • Wallpaper: roll width and length, pattern repeat with straight or half-drop match, strips per roll and rolls needed, wall by wall. • Concrete and floor screed: area times thickness, spillage allowance, and premixed bags by bag size. Every result shows its working. Tap it to see each step of the math, so you can check it before you buy. ONE SHOPPING LIST All rooms of a project come together in a shopping list with quantities and an estimated cost in your currency. Prices start as rough typical figures; tap any price to set what your store charges. Share the list as plain text with a helper or the store. ALSO • Metric or imperial units, switch any time. • English and Indonesian. • A sample project so you can see how it works on first launch. • Backup and restore your projects as text. • Works fully offline. No account, no sign-up. Room Calc is free and supported by ads. Estimates are a planning aid: check measurements and product labels before you buy.
