Pigeon

Pigeon transforms your assignment list into a beautifully tactile card catalog, right on your device. Every assignment you create is stored as a slightly yellowed index card with typewriter-style text and faint ruled lines. You can quickly add a new assignment by filling in its name, course, due date, and effort level—Quick, Medium, or Deep—through a form that slides up like a fresh blank card. The Catalog tab files all your cards in a single wooden drawer, with colored course tabs sticking out so you can sort by due date or course name. A handy search bar at the top lets you instantly filter cards by title or subject. The Today tab pulls forward only the assignments due today or tomorrow, highlighting the edges so urgent tasks stand out. Switch to the Focus tab to see just your Deep effort cards, each marked with a small reinforcement ring sticker on the corner. At the front of the drawer, a cream reference card shows your Due This Week count, your open Deep Focus items, and a Next Due snippet detailing the soonest deadline. Tapping any card opens it for editing; a long press gives you a quick option to delete or change the effort level, with changes reflected immediately. All your data lives securely on your device, so you never need an account or internet connection to manage your study load. Pigeon’s warm, paper-inspired design and linen-textured tab dividers make organizing schoolwork feel calm, deliberate, and satisfying. Swipe between the Catalog, Today, Focus, and Add tabs using the heavy-duty index dividers at the bottom, where the active tab catches the light and lifts slightly from the stack. Whether you’re a high school student balancing multiple subjects, a college student tracking deadlines, or a lifelong learner staying on top of self-study, Pigeon gives your assignments a clear, distraction-free home.
