Pipwood Backgammon: Classic

Pipwood Backgammon: Classic is a two-player backgammon game on a 3D wooden board. Race your fifteen checkers round the board and home, hit the rival's blots, and build points that trap them. Each turn you roll, tap a checker to see where it can go, and move it. Club tour: four clubs, each with three rivals. Every rival has a different style, from a careful player who counts every pip to a bold taker who accepts almost every double. Rivals in a club unlock in order, and each club unlocks when the club champion is beaten. Matches can be replayed, and stars only go up. Quick play: single games and matches against four levels, Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert, with the room of the last club you unlocked. The doubling cube is part of the game. Double when you are ahead, and take or pass when you are doubled. The cube only multiplies the game points for that game. Puzzles: position puzzles with a clear best play, a daily puzzle that changes with the date, and short lessons on the basics of the game. Each puzzle is scored by its stars. Optional help: after a hard decision you can watch a short labelled video to see the expert's best play. After a turn you regret, you can watch a video to undo it once per game. After a game you can watch a video to see the three biggest mistakes and the better play. You are never asked to watch, and the game never starts a video by itself. Club Room (Premium) is a one-time purchase. It adds six boards, six checker sets, four dice sets, the Nackgammon and Hypergammon variants in quick play, and twenty more expert puzzles. Premium does not change the rules, the dice, the rivals or the difficulty, and it does not remove ads. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that stops the full-screen ads between sessions of play. Optional video offers stay available. Boards, checker sets and dice sets can also be unlocked by earning stars through play. Stars are earned only by playing. The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. Full-screen ads appear only when you leave a result screen, never during a game. The game asks for your year of birth on first launch, and it is for players aged 13 and over. Your progress, settings and the game in progress are saved on your device after every action, so you can close the game and carry on later.
