StarRogues: Text Adventure RPG

StarRogues is a space roguelike and text adventure you play through choices. Captain a wandering ship, crew up with 9 companions, cross 12 star systems and reach one of 74 endings. A new daily challenge opens once a day. StarRogues is a text voyage through a dangerous galaxy. You play a drifter captain who reads a scene, picks a choice and lives with it. The Daily Challenge opens once a day on Hard difficulty and uses a seed made from the date, so captains who start on the same day begin from the same point. After that, your choices decide how far you get. The first completion each day pays 5 gems. When a daily run ends, you can copy a spoiler-free text result card to share with friends. You see the odds before you press. Every choice shows its chance of success and the reason behind it: which stat, background or companion pushes it up or down. When you lose, you can see why. The dice still roll on screen, so a narrow win and a near miss still feel like something. The story is long. There are more than 2,600 scenes with 1,200 pixel illustrations, 12 star systems linked by fuel, dates and promises with deadlines, and 9 companions: a gloomy robot, a talkative diplomat, a silent bodyguard, a mad scientist and more. Sixteen starting backgrounds make the same galaxy a different story. Ship battles are short turn-based scenes, not the main event. Every run ends in one of 74 endings, 11 of them deaths, and each death is recorded as an ending too. Highlights and a chronicle of your voyage stay after the run, and the endings you find fill a codex. Purchases are optional. Gems buy an emergency revive, extra save slots, ship paints and titles. Story and stats are not sold. The sealed cargo crate opens only with credits earned in the game, and its odds are shown in full. A one-time Supporter's Badge adds convenience perks such as double daily-challenge gems. There are no ads and no account. Language: the interface is in Korean, English and Japanese.
