NOCTIS

Noctis is a tactical grid-based stealth puzzle game in a neon-infused sci-fi environment that requires you to switch between two states of being in order to overcome security mechanisms and make an escape. As a physical entity in Light Mode, you become visible and can move around in the environment, collecting keys, using mirrors, and switching on switches, but have to be careful about getting spotted by guards because you are within the range of their vision cones. But in Shadow Mode, you become an invisible presence in the dark and thus are able to move across paths of the guards, walk through the glowing purple lines, and collect security cards without being seen, although you cannot press buttons in this mode. In order to escape the different sectors, you need to solve challenging environmental puzzles by shifting laser beams using mirrors, collecting security cards, and avoiding alarms.
