SobaChat lets you talk with people near you, offline. No internet and no servers: phones connect to each other directly over Bluetooth. Use it where there is no signal, at events, in classrooms or while travelling — whenever you want to talk with the people around you. ■ Features - Find and join nearby rooms: rooms created nearby appear in a list - Create rooms: open to everyone, or protected with a passphrase - Invite with a QR code: show a room's invite QR to people around you - Stickers: SobaChat character stamps and emoji stickers - Send photos, voice memos, files (up to 10 MB) and your location - Profiles: nickname, icon and a short introduction - Chat history: saved per room, only on this device (or choose not to save at all) - Available in 9 languages (Japanese, English, Chinese Simplified/Traditional, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German) ■ Privacy - No account needed - Messages never pass through the developer's servers; they travel only between nearby participants' devices - Passphrase rooms and invite-only rooms are encrypted so that only participants can read them - Messages in open rooms can be received by anyone nearby — do not send anything you want to keep private - You can block people and report inappropriate use to the developer from the app ■ Premium (in-app purchase) Unlocks the following.
