Chicken Road 2

Chicken Road 2 is a fast vertical shooter set beneath a total eclipse. Take control of the Vanguard squadron's last interceptor and defend the colony from endless enemy swarms using one-finger movement and automatic weapons. Guide your hull anywhere on the playfield by dragging with one finger. Your guns fire automatically, so the challenge is all about positioning, timing and reacting to the battlefield as enemy formations become denser and the gaps between projectiles grow smaller. The endless wave campaign features five enemy types with distinct behaviors. Drones dive in straight lines, Weavers weave while firing aimed shots, Shooters hold position near the top and attack in paired bursts, Shadow Spheres split into three drones, and armored Guardians cover the battlefield with triple projectile fans. Every fifth wave brings the Eclipse Leviathan. The boss cycles between rotating rings, aimed fans and heavy columns of fire. When its health falls below 45%, it enters an enraged state and accelerates its attacks, demanding precise movement and timing. Fill the Eclipse Mode gauge by destroying enemies. When it is full, activate the mode with one tap to gain 6.5 seconds of enhanced combat power. Your hull doubles its firing rate, uses heavier charges and slows enemy fire to 45% of its normal speed. Choosing the right moment can completely change the outcome of a wave. Collect crystals, repair modules, cannon cores and Eclipse cells from destroyed enemies. Cannon cores can increase your weapon setup to as many as four barrels, while nearby drops are automatically attracted to your hull as you pass close to them. Eight combat hulls are available, from the standard Penumbra to the legendary Singularity. Each hull has its own firing rate, damage, speed and additional durability. Unlocking a new hull requires both collected shards and sufficient wave depth, so currency alone is not enough. Build your score by chaining kills and raising the multiplier up to x9. Missing a shot resets the multiplier, while clearing an entire wave without a miss awards a bonus that grows with the wave number. Your best performances are saved locally on the device. The local leaderboard keeps your top 25 runs with score, wave, number of destroyed targets, selected hull and time, allowing you to keep chasing your personal records between sessions. Chicken Road 2 includes an interactive guide instead of relying on walls of text. Practice flying through rings, firing at targets and activating Eclipse Mode through three hands-on training exercises. An illustrated codex also covers every enemy and power-up.
