Timer that notices when you look away, doze or leave. Video stays on device.
Lookafter is an AI study companion that keeps you company while you study alone.
* It notices when you look away, doze or leave
The front camera reads your head direction, eyes and posture on your device only. It nudges you when you look away for a while or doze, and pauses the timer when you step away. If it gets it wrong, one tap fixes it. No video or photo is ever saved or uploaded. Everything works without the camera, too.
It can't tell if you're zoning out with your eyes open, and it can't see a second phone in your hand. Where people or a TV move behind you, it may miss an empty seat.
* What you learned comes back tomorrow
After a session, leave one sentence. Cards made from your own words return right before you forget.
* Three friends on your desk
Mina the mug keeps your rhythm, Theo the pencil answers questions, and Juno the notebook tidies up. One line, never a lecture.
Theo's answers and AI cards need a one-time download of about 586 MB (Wi-Fi recommended, not supported on some devices). The timer, detection and rule-based cards work without it.
* A study room that changes with the hour
Frosted-glass screens sit over a study room that shifts with the time of day, from a rainy night window to a sunny morning desk; your desk friends rest with you on breaks, and Mina the mug looks worried when you doze or look away and cheers when you reach your goal.
Sound is your choice. Short sound effects mark the start, your goal and breaks, and after your third session you're asked whether to turn on calm background music. Both can be turned off in Settings, and neither plays in silent mode.
* Forgiving streaks
Five days a week keeps your streak alive, and a missed day is covered automatically. No guilt for the days you miss.
* A focus score and your own curve
Time at your desk minus the time you looked away or stepped out. See where your focus fades and get a session length that fits you.
Privacy: camera video never leaves your device. Sessions and cards stay on this device. The microphone is not used.
AI-made cards and answers can be wrong. Check anything important against your textbook.
