Hinge Album Living

Hinge Album is an offline-first stamp album index for philatelists who curate one named album or country section at a time. Open the app and you land on a fullscreen stamp-album grid—a paper-page surface of ruled slots bound to the active album page. Every filled cell shows catalogue number, year, and mint, hinged, or used state. Empty gaps stay highlighted so missing pieces are obvious before you turn the page. Tap a filled slot for condition, watermark, and perforation detail. Long-press an empty slot to flag it on your want list or log a duplicate for trade. Completion rings for country and set sit in the page header so you always see owned versus total at a glance. Country and set dashboards list gaps, percent filled, and what remains. A filterable wants board spans countries and sets; duplicate stacks per catalogue number carry swap notes and export cleanly. Build a multi-album library with named albums and country sections, then jump straight back to the last-opened page. Search offline by catalogue number, year range, condition, or watermark across the active album. Gap-highlight mode dims filled stamps so wants stand out; a thumbnail strip turns pages without leaving the surface. Seed Scott-style sample pages of classic definitives and commemoratives make the grid usable on first launch. Save default condition and grid density once. Back up or share your album as JSON through the system share sheet—everything stays on device, with no account required. See completion, gaps, and duplicates on the page you are already working—built for collectors who want a living album grid, not another spreadsheet.
