Gondaro Quest is a puzzle about water and patience. Your gondola waits at the bottom of a staircase of canal locks, and the palace sits at the top. The only way up is to get the water right. Between each pair of lock chambers there's a sluice gate. Tap it and the water evens out between the two chambers. When the gondola's chamber is level with the next one, the gondola glides forward and climbs one step. Open the right sluices in the right order and it rises lock by lock until it reaches the palace. Every sluice you open counts against a move limit, so the puzzle is about planning, not tapping at random. Before each tap, think about where the water will go, which chambers it will raise or lower, and whether the gondola's path stays open behind it. As you go, the canal stops being forgiving. Your reservoir is limited, so you have to make each drop of water count. Later levels add leaking chambers that won't hold their level for long, and you'll need to plan your sluices around them to keep the gondola moving. There are 15 levels, and each one is a new staircase of locks. Lift the gondola, chamber by chamber, all the way to the palace.
