GetHomeSafe - Personal

GetHomeSafe is a powerful, free personal safety app designed to give you, your friends, and your family peace of mind. Whether you're walking home after dark, hiking a remote trail, or working alone, telling someone your plans is the smartest thing you can do. Simply open the app, share what you're doing, share your GPS location, and set a safety timer. GetHomeSafe will remind you to check in when you're done. If things don't go to plan, the app sends a fail-safe alert to your chosen contacts. The clever part? The alert is sent from our servers, meaning your contacts are notified even if your phone breaks, loses signal, or runs out of battery. Perfect for Everyday Activities: - Walking home, running, or cycling - Traveling, long-distance driving, or catching a taxi - Hiking, fishing, boating, or exploring the outdoors - Meeting someone new or going on a date - Remote working or lone working Free Features: - Unlimited free personal use (Email alerts) - Live location tracking invites - Instant panic alerts with your exact location - Duress PIN protection for forced closures - Interactive maps and trip summaries (time, distance, speed) - No advertisements—your privacy is our priority Premium Features (SMS Alerts): While many safety apps charge a flat subscription, GetHomeSafe puts you in control. The email-only version is completely free. If you want the added reliability of SMS text alerts and live tracking invites, you simply purchase pre-paid SMS bundles in the app. The best part? If you check in on time, you won't be charged for unused alerts! Accidents happen. Have GetHomeSafe ready to send an SOS when you need it most. (Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.)

* Fixed a crash that could occur when receiving a malformed error response. * Improved reliability of critical alerts (like PANIC and SILENT_ALERT) when operating on satellite links.
