Sintona: Instrument Tuner

Sintona listens to the note you play through the microphone and shows how sharp or flat the string is, in cents. Sound is analysed on this device in real time; it is never recorded and never sent anywhere. INSTRUMENTS AND TUNINGS • Guitar: standard, Drop D, half step down, whole step down, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, Drop C • Bass guitar (4 and 5 strings), ukulele (standard, low G, baritone, D tuning) • Violin, viola and cello • Bağlama (saz): bağlama düzeni and bozuk düzen • Chromatic mode: recognises any note • Custom tunings: choose the number of strings and the notes yourself TUNING • The string you play is found automatically; you can also lock a string • Shows whether you are flat or sharp, and whether to tighten or loosen the string • Strings that are in tune are marked • Adjustable tolerance REFERENCE • Change the A4 frequency in 1 Hz steps (e.g. 432 or 442 Hz) • Works without a microphone too: tap a string to hear its reference tone and tune by ear • Choose note names and sharps or flats PRIVACY The microphone is only on when you turn it on and while the app is on screen. No account, no ads, no internet connection required; no data is sent to any server.
