Cribbage Street: Play Online

Cribbage Street puts the classic two-player card game on your phone: six cards, the crib, the starter, and a wooden board you peg to 121. PLAY ONLINE, RATED Tap Play online, choose Classic six-card cribbage to 121 or Quick to 61, and play a rated game matched to your level. Classic and Quick each have their own rating and their own leaderboard. After five rated games at a length your name can reach the top 50 on its board. PLAY A FRIEND Send a friend your table's six-character code and they join from their own phone, Classic or Quick. Games with friends are not rated. Sitting together? Pass and play on one phone. A cover hides your hand while you pass it across. PLAY THE COMPUTER, 12 LEVELS Each level is modeled on how people of that strength play. Levels 1 to 6 are newcomers: they keep the cards that show the most points, overlook fifteens and never think about the crib, and levels 1 to 3 also throw on hunches. Levels 7 and 8 know the rules of thumb, like keeping 5s out of your crib. Levels 9 to 11 throw by the numbers and plan the play from guesses at your hand, and level 11 plays for 121 at the end. Level 12 plays the best discard and reads your hand. Each level tells you in one line how it plays. Classic or Quick, offline, and a game you leave waits on Home. PRACTICE Discard sets from easy to expert, 20 hands a set. Count the hand. What would you play? Pegging puzzles. Your mistakes: costly throws from your own games, until you find the best. And a sprint: how many hands can you count in 60 seconds? Every answer is explained, offline. EVERY DEAL, REVIEWED Review a finished game deal by deal: both players' throws ranked against the best, and your costliest moments. Stats show your win rate, skunks, points per deal as dealer and as pone, and your best hand. THE COUNT AND THE HINT At the show, the counting sheet lights each fifteen, pair, run, flush and nobs, line by line, the way players say it: "fifteen two, fifteen four, a run of four is eight." Stuck on the throw? Tap the hint for the best two cards and one sentence on why. DEALS YOU CAN CHECK Games against the computer are sealed before the first deal. So are online games, where your phone adds a seed of its own. When a game ends, your phone shuffles every deal again and checks each card you saw. TABLE CHAT One-tap phrases or a short typed line. The app refuses links and phone numbers and masks rude words, and you can report, block or mute a player. Fixes for Android: leaving a game in the middle no longer freezes the app, and the back button asks before you leave a game. A friend who opens your invite on a new phone picks a name first. Plus small fixes.
