The record book for your hụi (họ), the rotating savings circle also known as a tanda, susu or ROSCA. Everyone puts in the same amount every round, and each round one person takes the pot. Somebody keeps the book. This is that book. IT DOES NOT MOVE MONEY There is no payment processing, no bank connection and no transfer. It records amounts that people agreed and handed over in cash, exactly as the paper notebook it replaces does. Nothing is sent anywhere. THE CIRCLE, AT A GLANCE Your hụi is drawn as a ring of the people in it. Filled means they have taken the pot, and the marked one is whose turn it is now. The middle shows which round you are on and what the pot is worth. One look answers the question everybody rings you to ask. EACH ROUND Who owes, who has paid, and what is left to collect. Record a payment in two taps — the amount is filled in with what they owe, because that is almost always what they hand you. Part payments are fine and the balance carries. EACH PERSON Tap anyone to see what they have put in, what they have taken out, and where that leaves them. Send them their own statement as a message, so they stop having to ask. WHEN THE CIRCLE CLOSES Everyone has taken once and everyone is square, to the cent. The app checks its own arithmetic against that. NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT No advertising code, so nothing tracks you. No account and no sign-in, and your book is kept on your phone. There is no sharing between users of this app — sending a statement opens your own share sheet, and what happens after that is yours.
