Bardelo Snap

Bardelo Snap is a puzzle game about putting historical events in chronological order. Each round centres on a brass timeline that already holds a number of placed events, with gaps left between them. A parchment card appears showing a historical event, with its year hidden. The card is dragged onto the timeline and dropped into the gap where the event belongs, between whichever placed events come before and after it. Getting it right depends on knowing, or reasoning out, which events came earlier and which came later. When a card goes into the wrong gap, its true year is revealed and a life is lost. The revealed year shows where the event actually sits in the sequence, so each mistake also adds to the picture of the period on the timeline. A level is cleared once every card has been filed into its correct place. Bardelo Snap contains 15 levels, each a new set of events to arrange along the timeline. The look of the game is built around parchment cards and a brass timeline, and play comes down to one action: placing each event in the right gap.
