Altitude Tracker - Offline Map

Altitude Tracker measures your altitude, shows where you are on an offline map, and measures sound levels, all without an internet connection. It is made for travel abroad without data roaming, flights, hiking and the outdoors. ALTITUDE • GPS and barometer fusion for smooth, accurate altitude on phones with a barometer • GPS height converted to height above sea level • Estimated error shown with every reading • Also works on phones without a barometer (GPS only) OFFLINE MAPS • A world map and main-road maps of Korea and Israel are built in, so maps work right after installation • A main-road map of Japan can be downloaded from Google Play inside the app • Add Mapsforge maps (.map or .zip) for any country in the world • Hiking maps: add OpenAndroMaps maps with trails and contour lines and draw them with the Elevate theme • Map text size: small, medium or large • The map follows your position; zoom buttons move with the information panel OPTIONAL ONLINE FEATURES (off by default) • Google Maps when you are online, switching to the offline map automatically when you are not • Weather forecast from MET Norway; the last forecast stays available offline SOUND LEVEL METER • A, C and Z frequency weighting, Fast and Slow time weighting • Leq, Max and Min • Calibration with a reference sound or a manual offset • Information about your phone's microphone This is not a certified sound level meter (IEC 61672 Class 1/2). PRIVACY • No account and no ads • Your location stays on your phone. Only when you turn on Weather is an approximate location (about 10 m) sent to MET Norway. Google Maps, when turned on, follows Google's terms. Built-in user guide in English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL) and Natural Earth. Weather data: MET Norway (CC BY 4.0). OpenAndroMaps maps and the Elevate theme are not included in the app; you download them yourself under their providers' terms.
