Enter legs: heading, ground speed, time, fuel at once. CG envelope, nav log PDF
Enter course, distance and wind for each leg and a running nav log appears at once: wind-corrected heading, ground speed, time and fuel. What you did on an E6B wheel now happens on your phone. In flight, one tap on «Now» at each checkpoint re-computes delay and revised ETA.
For student and private/commercial pilots, flight instructors, and sport/light-sport and ultralight pilots. Flight Pocket (Bihaeng Pocket): no sign-up, ads, internet or subscription. Buy once; data stays on this phone.
■ Please note first
· Does not replace real navigation equipment or an official flight plan filing. A calculator for practice and flight preparation.
· Use the POH for performance and CG. No aircraft-type data is built in; enter empty weight, arms and envelope from your latest weight and balance record. The sample aircraft «(Sample) 4-seat single» uses made-up values.
· No weather (METAR/TAF), NOTAMs, maps or airspace; no takeoff/landing or climb tables; no jet calculations above Mach 0.3.
· No GPS. In flight you tap «Now» yourself at each checkpoint; no timer or alarm.
· Holding is an approximation of entry and wind correction. ATC instructions and published procedures always come first.
· No account, server or permissions.
■ Nav log: a wind triangle for every leg
· From true course, distance, altitude, wind and TAS: wind correction angle (WCA), true heading, magnetic heading, ground speed (GS)
· Leg time and fuel, cumulative distance/time/fuel, ETA at every point from a departure time, fuel remaining from fuel on board
· «Return flight» reverses the legs and turns each course 180° in one tap; copy routes you fly often
■ In flight (new)
· «Takeoff time», then «Now» at each point; no typing numbers
· Actual leg time and ground speed, minutes behind or ahead of plan
· Revised ETA, actual wind solved from your planned heading, average ground speed, fuel remaining (red below reserve)
■ Weight & balance: on the envelope, takeoff to landing
· Profile: empty weight and arm, stations (seats, baggage with max load), tanks, envelope vertices, max takeoff and landing weight, no limits on counts
· lb/gal or kg/L; arms in in, cm, mm or m; AVGAS and Jet A density editable
· Weight, moment and CG at ramp, takeoff, landing and zero fuel, plus the CG path as fuel burns
· Flags over max weight, outside the envelope (also mid-flight), station and tank limits
· Shift cargo (new): «Baggage 1 → Front seat» shows the new CG; enter a target CG to see how many lb to move
■ Fuel plan and calculators: instant, nothing saved
· Fuel plan: trip + start/taxi + reserve (VFR day 30 min · night 45 min per 14 CFR 91.151, editable to match your authority's rules) + alternate + extra, stacked against fuel on board; endurance
· Wind triangle: heading and GS / find the wind / track and drift
· Crosswind components from runway and gusting wind
· Pressure and density altitude (hPa or inHg; precise and textbook formulas) · TAS and Mach · time-speed-distance · top of descent and 3° glidepath rate
· Holding entry (new): direct, teardrop or parallel, drawn on a racetrack, with wind-corrected headings and outbound time
· Cold-temperature correction · unit conversion (kt, km/h, mph, ft, m, NM, km, SM, lb, kg, gal, L, °C, °F, hPa, inHg)
■ Reference values, brightness, text size
Standard atmosphere (15 °C · 1013.25 hPa · 29.92 inHg · 1.98 °C/1,000 ft), coefficients, fuel density, reserve and holding times are shown with basis and editable; edits go into every calculation, PDF and backup. Day/night display; four text sizes.
■ First launch and backup
Two sample flights («(Sample) Coastal lighthouse practice flight» and its return) and a fictional aircraft; one tap on «Delete samples» removes them. Export plans, aircraft and values as one file and restore on a new phone. Questions: «Contact us» in the app.
