Descripción
Log waterbirds by habitat zone and count whole flocks with +5 and +10 taps.
River Perch Journal is built for counting birds along rivers, ponds, marshes and lake shores. Each visit becomes its own session with a timer, a location and a full list of what you saw on the water and in the reeds.
MADE FOR FLOCKS
• Quick buttons add 5, 10, 25 or 50 birds at once when a raft of ducks or a flock of swallows passes by.
• Fine-tune with plus and minus at any time.
HABITAT ZONES
• Tag each count with where the birds were: Shoreline, Open Water, Reeds or Overhead.
• The session summary shows how many birds you counted in each zone.
A WATERBIRD LIST THAT FITS THE PLACE
• 47 built-in species: ducks, geese, swans, grebes, loons, herons, egrets, rails, sandpipers, gulls, terns, kingfishers, ospreys and wetland songbirds.
• Common and scientific names for every species.
• Add your own species name when you need to.
CLEAR SESSION SUMMARIES
• Total duration, total birds and species observed.
• Species breakdown sorted by count.
• Notes you added during the visit.
HISTORY AND STATS
• Compact list of past sessions, newest first.
• Totals for sessions, birds and species across your whole log.
• An unfinished session is restored when you come back.
PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• No account, no internet connection, no location tracking.
• No ads and no in-app purchases.
River Perch Journal is a personal counting log and does not identify birds automatically.
