Canopy Bird Record

Canopy Bird Record is a session log for birding under the treetops, where many birds are heard long before they are seen. Record each warbler, vireo and tanager as seen, heard or both, and set a species goal for the outing. SEEN OR HEARD • Mark every sighting as Seen, Heard or Seen & Heard. • The summary splits your counts so you know how many birds you actually saw. A GOAL FOR EVERY SESSION • Set how many species you hope to find before you start. • A progress bar fills up as new species are added. • The summary tells you whether you reached your goal. CANOPY SPECIES LIST • 45 built-in species: wood-warblers, vireos, tanagers, orioles, grosbeaks, flycatchers, cuckoos, thrushes, woodpeckers and more. • Common and scientific names for every bird. • Add a custom species name at any time. SESSIONS AND SUMMARIES • Timer, location, date and live total counts during the session. • Duration, total birds and species observed when you finish. • Species breakdown sorted from most to fewest birds. HISTORY BY MONTH • Past sessions on a timeline grouped by month, newest first. • Totals for sessions, birds and species across your log. • A session in progress is restored if the app is closed. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE • No account, no internet, no location tracking. No ads and no in-app purchases. Canopy Bird Record is a personal counting tool. It does not recognize bird songs or photos.
