Dice of Letters

Dice of Letters is the classic word game, made for groups playing with one phone or several. Roll the die, get a letter and a set of topics: an animal, a country, something you take to the beach… Everyone writes a word starting with that letter for each topic before time runs out. Answers nobody else came up with score more. HOW TO PLAY • Add the players and choose how many rounds to play, or no limit. • Decide whether topics change every round or stay the same. • Roll the die, start the timer and write, on paper or on the phone. • At the end, jot down everyone's points and the scoreboard keeps count. TOPICS FOR EVERYONE • Almost 300 topics in 10 packs: nature and animals, food and drink, places, culture, science, daily life and more, plus phrases like "something you take to the beach". • Three levels: easy for playing with kids, normal and expert. • Create your own topics and share them with a QR code so your friends get them too. • Up to 3 answers per topic for longer games. TWO WAYS TO SCORE • Just points: when you play on paper, simply note what everyone scored. • Type answers: type in the answers and the app flags repeated ones and those that don't start with the letter. If someone objects, the table votes. SEVERAL PHONES AT ONE TABLE Each player can use their own phone: one opens the table and the others join with a 4-character code or by scanning a QR code. It works between nearby phones, with no internet, no accounts and no servers. AND MORE • 12 alphabets: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Bengali, each with its own letters (Ñ, Ж, あ, ع…). • Big screen mode to show the die and the timer to everyone. • Stats from your games: rounds, hardest topics and more. • Pick which letters can come up on the die. • Your game saves itself: close the app and carry on where you left off. • Clean design, highly readable type and TalkBack support. Contains unobtrusive ads. If you'd rather play without them, watching an optional ad removes them for 24 hours.
