FamilyBarometer is a documentation and casework-support tool for social work. The app records and structures what is said – your assessments and decisions always remain yours. RISK ASSESSMENT SUPPORT FamilyBarometer provides structured support for risk assessment in casework – for example, the protection and needs of children, concerns within the family, or risk in close relationships. Based on the recorded conversation, the app creates a draft that highlights relevant themes and risk factors, so nothing important is missed. The draft is exactly that – a basis for your work: as the professional, you review, supplement, and make all decisions. The app makes no diagnoses and makes no decisions for you – it helps you document and reason about risk more thoroughly and consistently. PRIVACY BY DESIGN FamilyBarometer is built to support GDPR. Clients are identified by a randomly generated ID – never by their real name or personal identity number. Audio, transcripts, and assessments are encrypted in transit, and the database is encrypted at rest. Role-based access keeps each user's data limited to what they need. A note on AI: the model providers we use are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit training on your content. You can read the full privacy policy in the app and on our website. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Audio files are stored temporarily on the device during transcription and are then automatically deleted according to your audio-retention setting. • The microphone is used only while you are actively recording.
