Description
Most dogs give a warning long before they ever use their teeth.
Most dogs give a warning long before they ever use their teeth. The warning is just quiet — a head turned away, a tongue flicking across the nose, a mouth that closes and stops panting, a body that goes still. Dream Bonanza is a trainer for catching those moments, built around one question you answer with your hands instead of a multiple-choice list 📋.
Each case shows a dog in a real situation — at a fence, on a narrow path, around food 🍎, approached by a child, held, at the vet, woken suddenly, meeting another dog — together with a short list 📋 of physical observations: where the weight is, what the ears are doing, what the tail is doing, whether the mouth is open. You answer by dragging one point onto a two-axis pad: how wound up the dog is, and whether it wants distance or contact. Then you commit to an action — move toward, stand still, turn side-on and wait, or give distance now. Only then does the app 📱 show you the true region, name the signals that decided it, and explain the call.
The scoring is deliberately lopsided, and Dream Bonanza tells you so. Calling a stressed dog settled costs you far more than being over-cautious with a calm one, because that is the difference the real world charges for. Every verdict names the tells you were reading, and a plain two-sentence version for explaining the same dog to a child. There are 36 hand-written cases across three difficulty 📏 tiers, 20 named signals with their own anatomy pages, a myth deck that makes you answer before it explains, a quick side-by-side pair test, and a house-rules builder for everyone who lives with the dog.
You can also write down your own dog's normal — ears at rest, how it greets, what it does when it has had enough, where it goes to be left alone — because every signal is relative to one animal. Dream Bonanza is entirely offline 📴, keeps everything on your device 📱, and is a teaching tool 🛠️ rather than veterinary or behavioural advice.
