Volterk Clori

🌊 The Beacons have gone dark. Volterk Clori is a sailing and naval strategy game in which you build a ship, cross three Reaches of storm water and relight the Beacons one by one. ⚓ Start in the Shipyard. Pick a hull, a captain, a battery and a crew size, choose a drill focus and fit your ship within a warrant budget. Stock designs are ready to sail, and you can duplicate one to make your own. Before you sail, run sea trials: 1,000 simulated engagements show how your design fares and what holds it back. 🗺️ Then muster a voyage. Choose a ship, the sea conditions and a set of sealed orders, and cast off. The chart shows each row of the Reach with battles, storms, wrecks, fog, harbors and anchorages. Watch the barometer, keep an eye on your hull, rigging, crew, provisions, oil and silver, and decide where to go next. 🏮 A lit lantern shows more of the chart, but it costs oil. ⚔️ Battles are played on a hex grid. Read the wind, plot your helm, and make sail. Your guns fire from the port and starboard sides, so you must turn your ship to bring them to bear. You can also board an enemy ship or repair your hull and rigging. 🚢 Volterk Clori features: 🛠️ Three stock ship designs and a design editor for your own 🎯 Sea trials that test a design against five standard engagements 🗺️ A branching voyage chart with several kinds of encounters ⚔️ Turn-based hex battles that depend on wind and heading 🌬️ Fair Winds and Rough Seas difficulty, with a harder level to unlock 🎲 A voyage seed you can reroll or enter 🏅 Commendations that unlock new hulls, captains and difficulty 🧭 Volterk Clori suits players who like to plan, test and adjust before they sail.
