Prongeon shot: Handball

A packed indoor arena. The whistle blows and the pass comes in. Take off from the wing, dive toward the middle of the court and lean far over in the air to shoot! Musasabi Shoot recreates the handball wing "plongeon" shot (the "flying squirrel" shot) in 3D. 20 shots per game. How many can you score? ■ CATCH THE PASS ON THE WHISTLE • Start from the right corner, the wing spot, or a run along the sideline. Every shot is different. • Direct passes, bounce passes and lob passes. • You are a right-handed left winger, attacking from the right side of the screen. ■ TAKE OFF WITHIN 3 STEPS • Steps count from the catch. A 4th step is a foul. • Touch the 6 m line and it's a foul. Land before you shoot and the chance is gone. • Hold DASH for longer strides and more speed. • Two DASH steps after the catch unlock MUSASABI. ■ THE MUSASABI SHOT • Dive toward the middle of the court, not the goal, and lean over in the air to widen the angle. • Rise first, read the keeper, then lean late, just like the real thing. • Land with a forward roll. ■ MANY SHOTS FROM ONE RING AND FIVE BUTTONS • In the air, aim with the direction ring on the left: high, low, left or right. • Shot buttons on the right: NORMAL in the centre, LOOP on top, L-SPIN and R-SPIN on the sides, BOUNCE at the bottom. • You wind up before you throw, so the release takes a moment. • Step shots on the ground, quick shots right after take-off, jump shots and falling shots in the air. • Spin breaks harder with more dash speed and more steps. ■ 7 TYPES OF KEEPER • Patient keeper, Rusher, Near-post guard, Swayer, Feinter, Line keeper and Star jumper. • The keeper comes out toward you. When they commit, you see it, like "Dived right!". • Rushed out? LOOP. Star jump? BOUNCE. Dived?
