Lumens Cast: Screen Mirroring

Lumens Cast is a free app that mirrors your Android phone's screen and sound to Android TV over your own Wi-Fi or LAN. Up to 4K, encrypted, paired with a QR code — and light enough for TV boxes with 1–2 GB of RAM. Mirror to your TV without cables, accounts or servers • Up to 4K: Choose 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 4K at 30 or 60 fps. The app checks what your TV's decoder and your phone's encoder can do and lowers the settings automatically when needed. H.264, or H.265 above 1080p. • Light enough for TV boxes: The TV app decodes with the hardware decoder straight to the screen and uses no heavy libraries (about 100 KB). It runs on TV boxes with 1–2 GB of RAM, from Android 4.4. • Sound included: Share your phone's internal audio (Android 10+) or use the microphone as a fallback. Picture and sound stay in sync, and a Mute button silences the TV without stopping the mirror. • Encrypted end to end: Video and audio are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key agreed by ECDH for every session. With an access code or QR pairing, nobody else on the Wi-Fi can see your screen. • Pair with a QR code: Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone: the address and key are set in one step, with no IP typing. A manual IP address and an access code are still available. • Reconnects by itself: If Wi-Fi drops for a moment, the phone reconnects automatically for up to a minute while the TV keeps the last picture on screen. • No account, ads or tracking: Everything stays on your local network. There are no servers, accounts, ads or analytics, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. Mirroring in three steps 1. Install on the TV: Install Lumens Cast TV on your Android TV or TV box and open it. It shows its address, an optional access code and a QR code. 2. Install on the phone: Install Lumens Cast on your Android phone and connect it to the same Wi-Fi as the TV. 3. Scan and start: Tap Scan QR on the TV screen (or pick the TV from the list), choose the resolution and tap Start. Press Back on the TV remote to stop.
