ToppaTremik

A cheerful keepy-uppy story starring a ball with a face. It smiles after every touch, looks worried near the grass and sulks when it lands, so hold it up in the air and make it grin. Bearer One round orange-and-white mascot. It is the ball you play with, the face on the menu wheel and the head peeking over every pop-up sheet. Destinations Eight chapters, each with a short story card and its own scene: The Backyard, School Yard, Beach Day, Rooftop Garden, Park Festival, Harbour Gusts, Night Pitch and The Big Show. Thirty stages in all, joined by a winding path of nodes, with three stars waiting at every stop. Entry rules Tap near the ball to lift it; a tap on its left side sends it right. Where you touch decides the move: heel flick just above the grass, then foot, knee and the head up high. Cartoon trainers, socks and heads act out each one, topped by a cheerful speech bubble such as Heel flick! or Nice knee! Wind, swing bars and stars change from place to place. Travelling with a friend Two players share one phone for three rounds of 40 seconds with a single ball. A Pass the phone screen shows the score between turns, and recent matches are listed. Customs questions A quiz on ball games of the world: kemari in Japan, cuju, sepak takraw, chinlone, jianzi, footbag and more. 24 real facts, ten questions a round, with a green or red panel explaining each answer. Endorsements Twelve badges for chapters, stars, streaks, head touches, heel flicks, matches for two, the quiz and 1000 touches. Notes for the traveller Settings include haptics, how to play, a progress reset and the animated background of drifting clouds, slow sun rays and floating balloons. Turn it off for a calm still sky. No account and no connection needed.
