The Castaway of the Portal

You wash up on a beach with an empty pocket and a broken Portal in pieces somewhere out there. A grumpy old hermit hands you a map, tells you to build a workbench, and warns you not to go near the cave until you're stronger. That's the whole setup, and it's enough. This is a small, cosy top-down adventure about doing things with your hands: chop palms, craft a club, then a flint axe, light a torch, and finally walk into that cave anyway. Something big lives down there, and it's holding the first fragment. Then the Portal opens, and the next world is nothing like the last one. A whispering forest full of glowing spirits. A flooded swamp where the mist burns your throat and the locals only trust you after you've crossed swords with their captain. What you'll actually be doing • Fighting enemies you can read. A crab rears up before it charges, an archer draws a red line before it fires. No cheap hits: watch, step aside, hit back. • Surviving the night. You get hungry, the dark gets dangerous, the swamp mist needs an antidote. A torch and a campfire become your best friends. • Crafting your way up, from sticks and stones to copper, iron and potions, all the way to an alchemy table. • Taking down colossal guardians, each one with a pattern to learn. • Building your own workshop, a private room the Portal leads back to from every world, with a furnace, an anvil, a loom and a chest for your stuff. • Making friends. Some of the people you meet will fight beside you. Good to know • Made for phones: you move with your thumb, everything else is one tap. • Handmade pixel art, a day and night cycle, weather, original music. • Three save slots, and it plays offline. • Eight Portal fragments to find. The first chapter lets you reach the third world, and more worlds are on their way. • In English and French.
