Somewhere under the floor of a dark cellar lies a brass lamp. It sits beneath exactly one tile of the grid, and you have a limited ration of clicks to find it. Every tap costs one click and buys you one piece of information. The tile you touch glows and reports how close the lamp is to it — nothing more. From that single scrap you have to reason outwards: this tile is near, that one far, so the lamp must lie somewhere in the band between them. Good play is not fast tapping, it is choosing the tile whose answer will narrow the field the most. The cellar gets less generous as you descend. Early levels are honest and print the exact ring distance, so a few well-spaced taps can triangulate the lamp outright. Later ones stop counting and merely mutter a verdict — HOT, WARM, COOL or COLD, with a hint of whether you are getting warmer or colder than your last attempt. You are working with impressions instead of numbers, and the ration suddenly feels thin. Then, from level thirteen, the lamp stops waiting for you: it shifts to a neighbouring tile after every second click, so the picture you have carefully assembled starts going out of date while you are still assembling it. Fifteen cellars, each one a small exercise in deduction under a budget. There is no pressure of a clock, only the clicks you have left and the choice of where to spend the next one.
