Wonderful Safari Companion is a practical companion for discovering savanna animals, documenting your own observations, and organizing information during a safari. The app combines a species guide, a personal list of spotted animals, sighting records, photos, and information about individual drives in one clear interface. The main screen provides a quick overview of your current journal. It displays the date and location, the number of recorded species, animals still to discover, and available actions. Users can immediately log a new sighting, end a drive, or open the species guide. A dedicated section shows animals that may be active at the current time of day. Species names and key characteristics can be checked quickly without opening additional menus. Wonderful Safari Companion includes a Field Guide that works as a structured animal catalog. It covers various savanna species and helps users find animals by name or distinctive characteristics. Search tools and themed filters make navigation simple. The catalog can be filtered by different groups, including large animals, species active at dawn, cats, and pachyderms. This makes it easy to narrow the list and focus on the animals relevant to the current observation. Each species card includes the animal's name, scientific name, and a short description. Additional field notes provide information about distinctive appearance or behavior, making the catalog a convenient reference. For animals you have already observed, a personal Life List is available. Species are presented as a visual collection and organized into groups. Users can see which animals have already been recorded, when a sighting occurred, and which entries are still missing. With Wonderful Safari Companion, you can create your own observation records. After selecting the appropriate species, add the location and personal notes. The location field can be used to record a particular part of a route or provide a short description of the surrounding area. Notes can include animal behavior, local conditions, characteristics of a group, and other observations. This keeps useful details connected to the corresponding sighting. A photo can also be added to each sighting. Users can take a new picture or select an existing image from the gallery. The image is attached to the relevant entry and becomes part of the personal visual journal. After saving a sighting, the recorded species appears in the relevant sections. This allows users to gradually build a personal collection and return to previous observations whenever needed. The Drives section provides tools for organizing individual activities. Tours and their associated observations can be structured separately, making it easier to review records when multiple animals have been documented across different routes. Navigation focuses on Today, Species, and Drives. Today provides current information and quick actions, Species opens the Field Guide and personal collection, while Drives provides access to individual tour records. The interface uses cards, tabs, search tools, categories, and clear status indicators. Users can quickly move between the daily overview, species information, Life List, and individual sighting records.
