See how much of your salary goes to rent, EMIs and bills, and what's left.
Salary comes in, and a week later most of it is gone. Where Did My Salary Go shows you how much of your monthly salary is already spoken for by fixed expenses like rent, EMIs, SIPs, bills and subscriptions, and how much is really left for living.
Enter your salary once, add your fixed bills, and the app does the maths.
FLOW: YOUR SALARY AT A GLANCE
• One coloured bar shows your salary split by category, and what percentage is spoken for before you spend anything
• "Left for living" shows the money that is free after your bills, and how much that is per day until your next payday
• The waterfall starts with your salary and takes away each category in turn, ending with what is free to spend
BILLS: EVERY FIXED EXPENSE IN ONE LIST
• Bills are grouped into six categories: Housing, Loans & EMIs, Savings, Bills, Lifestyle and Other
• Tick a bill when you pay it and watch the paid total fill up
• Tap a bill to edit it, or swipe it away to delete it (with Undo)
• Your bills carry over to each new month automatically, marked as unpaid
ADD: QUICK TO ENTER
• Type a name like "Rent", "Bike EMI" or "Netflix" and the app suggests a category, which you can change
• Before you save, see how your free-to-spend amount will change
MONTHS: ANY MONTH IN ONE PICTURE
• A flow diagram shows exactly where each month's salary went
• Plain-language insights: your housing cost as a share of salary, compared with the common 30% guideline, and how your commitments changed since the previous month, including bills that were added or removed
• A trend of your last six months shows how much of your salary was committed each month
MADE FOR YOUR COUNTRY
• 20 countries supported, including India, with local currency symbols and number formatting (₹1,00,000 style for India)
• Set your salary credit date (optional) so the per-day amount counts down to your real payday
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account or sign-up needed
• No bank login and no SMS reading: you enter only what you choose
• Your salary and bills are stored on your phone. The app has no servers of its own
• No ads
COMFORTABLE TO USE
• Light and dark theme
• Works with TalkBack, and large amounts resize for bigger font settings
PRO (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION)
Everything above is free. Pro adds:
• Event-based notifications: a salary summary when your salary arrives and a month-end snapshot on the last day of the month
• Due date reminders 1, 2, 3 or 5 days before a bill is due
• CSV export of your past months: the last 1, 2, 3 or 6 months, depending on the plan (1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year)
Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. You can cancel any time from Google Play's subscriptions page, and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Where Did My Salary Go is a planning tool for your own fixed expenses. It does not give financial advice and does not connect to your bank.
