The Algorithm - Card Game

You are the invisible hand behind the screen. In Model 0, you step into the digital shadows as the ultimate Social Media Algorithm. Your goal is simple but lethal: keep the world scrolling. Through a "Reigns-style" swipe mechanic, every decision you make filters the reality of millions. Balance the Four Pillars of Power: Retention: Keep them hooked. An empty feed is a dead platform. Revenue: Satisfy the investors, but don't let greed break the user experience. Trust: Navigate fake news and scandals. If the public turns on you, it’s over. System Load: Manage the technical strain. Even the best algorithm can’t survive a total server meltdown. Meet Your Advisors: Listen to (or ignore) your team. From the aggressive tactics of The Growth Hacker to the cautious warnings of The Legal Advisor, everyone has an agenda. Will you prioritize profit at the cost of ethics, or will you try to build a digital utopia? Game Features: Simple swipe-to-decide mechanics with deep strategic consequences. Unique characters and branching storylines. A dark, satirical look at the world of social media and big tech. The feed is hungry. It’s time to feed the Algorithm.
