Private Spending Today

Private Spending Today shows how much you have spent today — at a glance, in a persistent notification, without an account and without your data ever leaving the device. Spendings can be added automatically from Google Wallet / Google Pay notifications, captured from a paper receipt with on-device OCR, or entered manually in seconds. Grant Notification access once and the app watches Wallet payment notifications, extracting the merchant and amount each time you tap to pay. The listener reads only Google Wallet / Google Pay notifications — anything from other apps is ignored immediately. Prefer not to? Skip it and record everything by hand or by scanning receipts. The Add Receipt form includes a scan button: point the camera at a paper receipt and Google ML Kit's on-device scanner crops it, reads the vendor name and the total amount, and fills the form for you. Manual entry takes a vendor, an amount, a currency symbol and an optional note. At midnight the day is archived automatically and the total resets. The History screen lists past days with daily totals and a Wallet/Receipt breakdown — search, review, or delete any entry or day.
