Scan for recoverable files and save the items you select.
File Resurge helps you check device storage for files that may still be recoverable after accidental deletion, cleanup, or file loss. Start a scan, review the results, and save only the files you choose.
The recovery process is designed to be clear and user controlled:
- Choose the type of content to scan
- Search device storage for recoverable items
- Review detected files before restoring
- Select individual files or groups of files
- Save selected results back to the device
- Follow scan and recovery progress
- Receive a notification when a recovery task is complete
File Resurge can help you check for common file types such as photos, videos, audio files, and documents. Depending on the device and storage condition, results may include formats such as JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, and TXT.
Recovery results depend on several factors, including how long ago a file was deleted, the condition of the storage, device restrictions, and whether the original data has already been overwritten. No recovery application can guarantee that every deleted file will be found or restored.
Storage access is used for scanning and recovery actions started by the user. Broader storage access may be required because standard file selection interfaces and indexed media APIs may not expose deleted or recoverable data across the device. File access is not used for ad targeting or unrelated personalization.
Some scans and recovery operations may take time. Delrev may show a foreground notification while a user-started task is running, allowing the recovery status to remain visible if the user leaves the app. Notifications are used for recovery progress and completion updates.
For the best chance of finding recoverable data, start a scan soon after files are lost and avoid writing new data to the same storage. Delrev provides a practical scan, review, select, and save workflow while keeping recovery results dependent on the actual storage condition of the device.
