Description
Lo-fi beats, calm piano and ambient radio for studying and deep focus
WHY LO-FI FOR STUDYING?
Most people find lyrics compete with reading and writing. Lo-fi sidesteps that. The tempo is relaxed, the loops repeat gently, and nothing jumps out at you halfway through a paragraph. This app collects live stations in that vein so you can press play and get back to work.
WHAT YOU CAN LISTEN TO
Lo-fi hip-hop beats, slow solo piano, soft ambient pads, and instrumental jazz-leaning chill. Browse the directory by genre or country if you want to explore beyond the first stations you find.
HOW STUDENTS USE IT
1. Choose a station before you open your books so you are not hunting for music mid-session.
2. Leave the app running in the background while you switch to your notes, a PDF or a video call.
3. Set the sleep timer when you study in bed or late at night so the stream shuts off on its own.
4. Save the stations that work in your favorites; the ones that suit your 8 a.m. brain may differ from your midnight brain.
SMALL THINGS THAT HELP
Switch to the data-saving quality option if you are on mobile data in the library, or stay in HD at home on Wi-Fi. The interface comes in 10 languages.
Stations are provided by third-party broadcasters, so what you hear depends on the stream. Good luck with the exam.
