Spotago

Spotago shows real photos, taken in the app, pinned to the place they were taken. There is no upload from the camera roll: every photo is taken live, standing at the place, so what you see on the map and in the feed is what is actually there right now. Every place keeps its photos, so you can scroll back: this afternoon, last weekend, last spring. Photos belong to the spot, not to a profile. There is nothing to follow and nobody to perform for; each place gets its own page, described by AI and scored for how few photos exist around it. Ask there: wondering if the beach is crowded or the market open? Ask from the place's page, and people who are there right now answer anonymously. Keep "Ask there" switched on and you can be the one who answers when you are out; it is off until you turn it on, and it never says where you are. Collections are lists of real places to photograph, drawn up for where you are; you complete one by standing at each place and taking the photo. Events show what is happening around a place, with its photos as they come in. Your position chooses what you see and is never shared. A photo taken at a public place is pinned where you stood; anywhere else, and anything that looks like a home, is blurred to an area about 100 m across. You are signed in the moment you open the app, with nothing tied to a name; add an email, Google or Apple sign-in only if you want to keep your account, and the ability to edit or delete your posts, when you change phones. Every upload is screened before it is published, and a person reads every report. Spotago is in open beta, live in the United States and Czechia, free while it grows.
