Herstory

Welcome to the Old Port of La Rochelle! Between the towers, the quays and the arcaded houses, a giant mural is waiting for twenty women history forgot. Find them, one by one. A HARBOUR TO EXPLORE Stroll along the quays, past the boats, the merry-go-round, the fountain and the community garden. Meet Inès, Fatou, Mrs Odile and Samira. Each one knows a pioneer and gives you a mission. Find the neighbourhood's lost objects: a notebook, a poster, a bundle of reeds… PLAY THEIR STORIES Land Apollo 11 with Margaret Hamilton: when the 1202 alarm goes off, keep only what matters. Save the Montauk cliff with Giorgina Reid: build reed terraces before the wave hits. Find Joséphine Baker's secret messages, hidden in invisible ink in her sheet music for the Resistance. A GAME FOR EVERY MOOD Passe-trappe: flick the pucks through the gap and challenge the women of the harbour. Match-3 duels against the pioneers, right in front of the mural. The harbour party: every win builds a new installation on the quays. 20 PIONEERS, 20 TRUE STORIES Agnodice, Wu Zetian, Nzinga, Joséphine Baker, Margaret Hamilton, Giorgina Reid, Temple Grandin, Leymah Gbowee, Sonita Alizadeh… From ancient times to today: a doctor, an empress, a queen, a Resistance spy, a computer scientist, a scientist, a rapper. Every card you reveal takes its place on the pioneers' mural. Read her story and a "Did you know?" in your journal. COZY, FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY A gentle, stress-free game: take your time. The Auto button guides you to your next mission. In English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Chinese.
