Snap a food package and MyFridge counts the days to its expiry date for you.
Ever found milk or leftovers at the back of the fridge, days past their date?
MyFridge is a simple expiry date tracker: snap the package, and it keeps count of the days left for you.
No sign-up, no ads — just open it and start.
■ Snap it, and we'll look for the name and date
• MyFridge picks out the product name and date from your photo and shows them as suggestions. Tap the right one and you're done.
• Not quite right? Pick another suggestion or type it in yourself.
• Snap several items in a row, then sort them all out at once.
• Blurry shots, or photos where no text could be read, are flagged right away so you can retake them.
• Prefer not to use the camera? Use "Add without a photo" to add items by hand.
■ Days left, at a glance
• Items are listed soonest first, color-coded by overdue, due today and due this week.
• A summary at the top shows how many need attention, like "Past date: 1 · Within 3 days: 2".
• Sort by expiring soonest, recently added or name.
• Search by name or by any text printed on the package.
• The "Coming up in the fridge" home-screen widget shows the four most urgent items without opening the app.
■ Friendly reminders
• Every day at 6 PM, get a reminder for items due in 3 days, tomorrow or today.
• Turn reminders off in Settings anytime.
■ Organized by fridge and freezer
• Split your food into places such as Fridge 1, Fridge 2, Freezer and Kimchi fridge.
• Rename, add or remove places to match your own kitchen.
• Items you've eaten or thrown away move to "Finished", and you can put them back if needed.
• A simple fridge inventory: see what you have and what to use first.
■ Use by or best before? Kept as printed
• "Use by", "sell by" and "best before" labels are saved exactly as printed — never converted into one another.
• When a package only shows a production date and a shelf life, the date is calculated and clearly marked as calculated.
■ Your photos and data stay on your phone
• Everything is stored only on this device. The app has no internet permission at all, so nothing is ever sent anywhere.
• Text recognition runs on the device.
• Back up everything, photos included, to a single file and restore it on a new phone.
■ Great for you if you
• often find expired food in the fridge
• forget what's already at home when you go shopping
• want to cut down on food waste
• keep food in a freezer or kimchi fridge as well
Light and dark themes · Korean and English.
※ MyFridge does not judge whether food is safe to eat. It only counts the days — please check the package and the food yourself before eating.
