Sand Pyramid is a full deck of cards stacked into a seven-row triangle on a green felt table. The rule underneath it never changes: tap two open cards whose ranks add up to thirteen and both of them leave the table for good.
Every round deals a fresh, shuffled pyramid. A card only opens up once the two cards resting on it — the pair directly below in the row beneath — are both gone, so the bottom row is free from the very first tap and the lone card at the very top is the last one to come loose. Ace counts as one and jack and queen count as eleven and twelve, so most pairs are ordinary neighbours in value. A king is already worth thirteen on its own, so it never needs a partner — one tap and it's off the table by itself.
Underneath the pyramid sits the stock, the rest of the shuffled deck waiting its turn. Tap it to flip one card into the waste pile, and that top waste card becomes fair game too: pair it with any open pyramid card, or with the card sitting right beneath it in the waste itself if the two of them happen to add to thirteen. Before a round starts you choose how many times the stock can be run through — once for a tighter, more decisive round, or three times for more room to work with — and once the last pass is spent, an emptied stock stays empty for the rest of the round.
A short counter strip above the pyramid keeps track of how many cards have been cleared, how many are left, and which pass through the stock you're on, so you're never guessing how close the table is to empty. Undo steps back through draws and pairs alike, one at a time, if a tap goes the wrong way, and a limited hint per round will light up a real, waiting pair in gold when the table looks stuck and you just need a nudge.
A round ends one of two ways: the pyramid empties completely, or no pair is left anywhere and the stock has nothing more to give. Either way you get a quiet card with the number of cards you cleared and a choice to play again or head back home — no pop-ups, no pressure, no ads standing between you and the next deal.
The stats screen keeps a running record of every round you've played: how many you've won, your win rate, your best winning streak in a row, and the average number of cards you clear in a typical round. Settings are simple and sit right alongside those numbers — a buzz on every match, hints on or off, larger cards for the rank and suit, and the default number of passes new rounds start with — plus one reset that clears stats and settings together, with a second tap to make sure.
Everything happens on the table in front of you. No accounts, no network calls, no ads, nothing tracked and nothing to buy — just one deck, one table, and thirteen as the only number that matters.
