Highrise Glow

Highrise Glow - a grid puzzle built on a five by five field of construction site cells, where every tap flips the touched cell together with its four side neighbours between the lit and the dark state, and a level is cleared once the whole field has gone dark. Each level opens with a scrambled layout that is always solvable, and the game grants a limited pool of moves counted from the shortest possible solution, so a level ends the moment the pool runs out while cells are still lit. Points are added from the level number and from every move left over at the moment the field goes dark, which makes shorter solutions worth more. Levels follow one another without a break and the scrambling grows deeper with each one, so later fields ask for longer chains of taps. A lightbulb button holds three hints per run, each of them outlining one cell that belongs to the shortest remaining solution, and a counter beside the button shows how many hints are left. The header keeps the moves left in view, the panel under the field shows the current level and the points gathered so far, and a pause button freezes the field with options to continue, to start again from the first level or to leave for the menu. The closing panel shows the total points of the run and offers a fresh attempt or a way back. The menu holds a table of the six best results, which is kept between launches and updated at the end of every run, and a settings panel with a toggle for screen effects, a three step difficulty switch that changes how generous the move pool is for new runs, the current top result and a button that clears the saved table.
