7Games's Breakout mode displays a bonus screen between each of its 12 levels, rewarding the player with extra points before the layout of the next stage is revealed. This screen acts as a clear pacing boundary between the challenge of one level and the fresh brick arrangement of the next, giving a moment to breathe and assess remaining lives. Bonus points earned here add to the running score, meaning efficient level completion, clearing all bricks without losing lives, is rewarded more than a barely-passing run. The between-level screen also provides a natural moment to plan which powerup types to prioritize in the next level based on how lives currently stand. Breakout is entirely offline; all session scores including between-level bonus accumulation are saved locally with no account.
