Neon survival action: dodge, level up and outlast an eight-minute storm
Shardstorm is a neon survival action game. Triangles, squares, diamonds and hexagons close in from every side, and a guardian arrives every two minutes. Your weapons fire on their own – you choose where to run, collect the crystals left by defeated enemies and try to last eight minutes until the storm is over.
• Simple one-finger control: drag anywhere on the screen and a joystick appears under your finger
• Weapons that fire automatically, so you can focus on dodging and positioning
• Pick one of three upgrades at every level: six weapons and seven boosts
• Weapons: pulse, orbiting blades, shockwave, chain lightning, homing seekers and bursting shards
• Boosts for vitality, speed, power, fire rate, magnet, regeneration and weapon area
• Carry up to four weapons and raise every weapon and boost to level 5
• Every run builds a different set, and by the end the screen fills with light
• Coins from each run buy permanent upgrades: might, life, speed, magnet, greed and a one-time revive
• Statistics with your longest survival, most kills, runs and wins
• Portrait and landscape, progress saved on your device
• 7 languages: English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian
How to play
Drag your finger to move. Defeated enemies drop crystals that fill the experience bar at the top; a full bar means a new level and a choice of three upgrades. Take a new weapon or strengthen what you already have. Watch out for the guardians that appear every two minutes. Survive eight minutes to win the run, then spend your coins on permanent upgrades so the next attempt goes further.
Ads and purchase
Shardstorm is free to play and contains ads. Full-screen ads only appear between runs, never during play, and there are no banners. If the storm gets you, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad and continue the run once. This is always optional, and the game can be won without it. A one-time purchase removes the ads, and continuing is then available without watching anything. The game works without an internet connection; only the ads need one.
What's new
