GPS Map: Ovelo Location

See your family on one map. GPS Map: Ovelo Location connects people with an 8-character code — no account and no sign-up. Someone appears only after they choose to share from their own phone. FAMILY LOCATION MAP Open one map and see the latest place of people who shared their code with you. Your own sharing shows an ongoing notification, so you always know it is on. CONNECT WITH A CODE Send your location code, or paste a family member’s code. Your location is shown only to people you add in Share my location. Stop sharing with anyone, at any time. A code alone does not let anyone see you. ZONE ALERTS Save Home, School, Work, or any place, set a radius, and get a notification when a connected person arrives or leaves. ROUTE HISTORY Look back at the day’s route for yourself or for someone who shared with you. NEARBY PLACES Search food, coffee, hotels, ATMs, and more around a shared location. Search opens in Google Maps. HOW SHARING WORKS 1. Install the app and allow location. 2. Exchange 8-character codes with family. 3. Each person turns on sharing on their own phone. 4. Recent places show up within a few minutes. GPS, battery, and network can delay an update. YOU STAY IN CONTROL This is a family location app, not a hidden tracker. Do not install it on a phone to watch someone who has not agreed. You can revoke location permission in Android settings whenever you want. PERMISSIONS Location, including background location, is used to update your recent place for the family you connect with. While sharing is on, the app may upload about once a minute, with a backup about every 15 minutes. Notifications are used for arrival and departure alerts. FREE, WITH ADS The app is free and shows ads. This version has no in-app purchases. NOT FOR EMERGENCIES Do not rely on the map in an emergency. Call your local emergency number.
